2006-01-06 11:24 AM Wake up in New Jersey, go to bed in South Carolina. It seems as if ever since I entered college time has fast forwarded. I can remember high school lagging on for centuries during dull winter days, but this has not been the case for my winter break. I honestly thought the month I was home would last forever, yet just as I gt adjusted to being back here it's time to pick up and leave again. When I hung out with all of my friends last night, it was like having to say goodbye to them once more. I won't see any of them for four months, but judging by how fast my first semester went, it should feel like ten minutes. I really can't believe that I'm about to start my second semester. They say time flies when you're having fun, but not everything about school was fun. There were times when I spent hours upon hours doing homework, times when I thought I had no friends and felt alone, times when we sat around on weekends wondering what to do. It's so very odd. I'm scared that I'll wake up one day and be 30. Hopefully when I get to that point I'll be ready for it. I never could forsee myself going this far, but I have managed to do so. I guess when the time comes you just deal with it.
