2008-01-20 10:57 PM Clone it up your ass. In a Christian, God-fearing nation such as America, the use of stem cells to treat and cure diseases has been deemed morally wrong. No life, however young and questionable, shall be taken to save another. Yet when it comes to making profits and improving the efficiency of how many animals are slaughtered per day, all bets are off. Sure, pump our produce with chemicals and go ahead, tinker with the genes of prize cows. Hell, why don't we clone some sheep? No one will even know the difference and as long as we're not messing with human embryos we can test tube all the way to the bank. God really only cares about humans so whatever we do to animals is fair game. After all, people need cheeseburgers and buffalo wings. These are essential parts of the food pyramid, right up there with refined sugar, saturated fat and cholesterol. Creating a human life and then destroying it to save millions of sick people is absolutely a terrible idea. Who would even go for that? Helping cancer patients? Growing body parts? Why, that sounds like the plot of a sick and twisted Steven King nightmare. How about we give all the sick and dying people milkshakes and hot dogs to ease their pain? We don't have to tell them the food came from cloned animals because that's completely normal and the effects of consuming genetically modified food have been studied extensively and the results have not at all been influenced by the dairy and meat industry. Everyone knows animals were put on earth solely to serve humans. And they taste so damn good too.
Time to become a vegetarian, people. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
