I'm 25.

I grow weary of hearing about the iPhone.

The next time someone laments about not being able to purchase a new iPhone due to time or financial restraints, I am going to tell this person to kindly shut the hell up. It's just a freaking phone, and I'M SICK OF HEARING ABOUT IT. Maybe it's because I'm clumsy and living on the edge of poverty so I cannot justify spending hundreds of dollars on a very fragile rectangle which I will undoubtedly drop within a matter of months, or maybe it's because I prefer to look people in the eye while conversing with them instead of fixing my gaze on a keyboard that relies upon my fingertips and an abundance of patience to operate.

Is it just me, or is Apple running the biggest scam under the sun? Please folks, don't get me wrong; I love my Mac, but why do none of these tech-gobbling trolls realize that as soon as they spend days waiting in line for a shiny new phone, Apple will be plotting and scheming for the unveiling of a brand new, slightly improved device?

Sometimes I feel like a neanderthal, with my texting completed via numeric keys. But you know what, I'm still on my parents' family plan, and I will continue to ride that gravy train for as long as I can. It's just a cell phone. With or without it, you're still the same person. I'm probably not even cool enough to have an iPhone; I don't think I have enough friends to warrant constant connectivity to the Internet. But I'm in the minority. Everyone else seems to want an iPhone.
