Well, I've made the first fire of the new season . . . It's a gorgeous weekend and I'm stuck doing all the grading I've been putting off since way too long . . . I'm wishing I could be bike riding or hiking or otherwise recreating, but I pretty well did all my recreating this afternoon when I had lunch with Brenda . . .

So now I have to grade - but at least I get to sit in front of a fire, outside, in the waning light to do some of it. (And then I'll move to the sunroom and open the windows.)

The seasons have definitely turned, here . . .
