Dear Daughter,

We celebrated your first birthday two weekends ago and it was a great time for all. Your MaDear flew in from Washington DC, your Grammy drove over from Houston, and your Gammy came up from San Antonio. We also had a lot of our friends and family come over.

This year has really flown by. It really does seem like yesterday that we were bringing you home from the Birthing Center. You bring so much joy into everyone who meets you. Your mom and I are truly lucky to have been picked by you to be our parents. Walking in and seeing your smiling face is the best part of my day.
