I feel like I have a lot to say on this here blog, but can't think of anything to type now that I'm writing it. How about a Christmas themed meme?

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? - We do cookies every year, so its more tin oriented than paper or bag.

2. Real tree or Artificial? - I prefer real trees, but due to our small apartment and lack of space, for now, I prefer an artificial tree. Nothing beats the smell of a real tree.

3. When do you put up the tree? - When Anya finishes her school work for the semester.

4. When do you take the tree down? - I want the thing taken down as close to immediately after Christmas as possible. I really can't stand December 26th Christmas decorations. Time to get ready for Valentine's Day.

5. Do you like eggnog? - I do, but have a moderate case of lactose intolerance. Maybe I'll make some homemade eggnog this year and try it out. I'm more of a cider person.

6. Favorite gift received as a child? - I don't know why this stands out like it does, but I got this cool GI Joe armored vehicle one year and remember playing with that thing for years afterward. I also remember receiving a Cabbage Patch doll at the height of the Cabbage Patch doll craze.

7. Hardest person to buy for? - Anya. Not really into bands and listening to cd's. Doesn't really enjoy owning dvds. But in some ways, she's really easy to buy for since she loves going to the spa.

8. Easiest person to buy for? - I don't really buy many gifts for anyone anymore, but my brother Luke is pretty easy to buy for. I usually buy him something that I'm into and want him to read/watch/listen to and I bet he does the same thing.

9. Do you have a nativity scene? - No.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? - We're going to try and do the card thing this year. We'll see if they sit on the shelf or if they actually get filled out and sent this year.

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? - Hmmmm. Can't really think of anything.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? - "It's a Wonderful Life" is a classic, but besides showing it at Christmas and the presence of a tree in the movie, is it really a Christmas movie? I think my favorite Christmas movie is the neo-classic "A Christmas Story." You'll shoot your eye out, kid.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? - As stated above, we do cookies, so we shop for ingredients a couple of weeks before the fact.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? - No.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? - Christmas meal, for me, is Thanksgiving part II. I want the same exact things on Christmas that I have on Thanksgiving.

16. Lights on the tree? - I like a mix of clear and color, blinking and non-blinking.

17. Favorite Christmas song? - "Christmas Time is Here Again" by Vince Guaraldi. Anything off the Charlie Brown Christmas Special is greatness.

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? - Whichever brings me near family.

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? - I can but won't.

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? - I usually opt for angels.

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or Christmas morning? - Christmas morning.

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? - That you cannot escape THE MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

23. Favorite ornament theme or color? - Multi-color bulbs.

24. Favorite for Christmas dinner, Turkey or Ham? - Turkey. No doubt. Thanksgiving part II, that's what Christmas meal is.

25. What do you want for Christmas this year? - I want to give out some more cookies.
