I have just finished a script for a stage-set project that I'm calling Mohammed, the Musical.

It's a real blast, and it could cause a real blast, in a very literal sense. It opens with the Prophet Mohammed and Jesus of Nazareth in bed, kissing and heavy petting.

I have also just finished a good piece of conceptual art for the Tate Gallery in London. It is my take on Damien Hurst's range of pickled creatures. In my work, I have submerged a bisected effigy of the Virgin Mary in a tank of formaldahyde.

Critics accuse me of deliberately stirring up controversy just to make a point or cause offense.
