A good meal:

Hosted another couple here for dinner last night. They brought two bottles of red wine (2007 Paraiso pinot noir and 2007 Clos de l'Hermitage rhone). I cooked:

* Indonesian-style chicken (drumsticks simmered in soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, sugar, and ginger)
* steamed rice
* stir-fried snow peas
* bean sprouts stir-fried with scallions and bacon
* red-bean mochi (storebought)
* fresh pineapple (which had started out the night as the centerpiece)

Good times. :-)
