This morning's snapshots are of the poster I've pulled together for the Denominational Affairs bulletin board at my church:
The current denomination-wide "study/action issues" are Ethical Eating (2008-2012) and Immigration as a Moral Issue (2010-2014). [I had a poster on Ethical Eating up earlier this year.]
The resource guide pictured (and other resources) are on the Unitarian Universalist Association's Immigration Justice page.
The quotation is from a wallet card at standingonthesideoflove.org. "GA" stands for General Assembly, the annual denomination-wide meeting. There was a lot of discussion at this year's assembly on whether to cancel the one scheduled for Phoenix in 2012; the plan is to conduct a Justice assembly with the bare minimum of business meetings and an emphasis on witness and service.
