In light of DADT repeal efforts getting nowhere for the time being, I commend to you Martha's September 2010 calendar:

To be specific, on September 17 she has this entry: "Prepare the farm for a wedding this weekend!"
Followed by this entry on September 19: "Nephew Christopher Herbert and Tim Long's wedding at Bedford."

In the August 2010 "Ask Martha," she answers a reader's question on where to recycle No. 5 plastic when it's not covered by one's town. (Scan of article here.) In short, they're collected at some Whole Foods stores, and Preseve accepts them via mail ("The company analyzed the environmental impact of recycling through the mail and found that the benefits outweight any harm").
