[Subject line from Donne's The Anniversary]
The Beautiful Young Man and I celebrated our wedding anniversary a couple days ago by heading to a shooting range and taking turns with a Beretta Px4 Storm.
I've been doing a fair amount of work seated on my sofa. The dog, being the dog, would rather squoosh herself between said sofa and the armchair rather than making use of the rest of the living room floor:
She does make a good footrest:
Other highlights of the weekend have included my friend T. treating me both to a Michael McDonald concert and his stories of working in radio; pickling three cups of garlic; The Silence of Too Much To Say appearing at unFold; the BYM's reactions to academic jargon; and messages from friends. Now to put my feet back on the dog...
