2002-10-10 8:40 PM No grub, I Well, I'm not sure if I'll get more writing done this evening, so I thought I'd post here. After some muddling earlier today, I pulled together a lot of cool stuff for chapter eighteen, and I like it a lot. And I incorporated scenes with all my major characters except Ally, who shows up in chapter 19. More on that tomorrow.
Six chapters to go!!! Wahoo! 1,500 words again today -- that seems to be my max wordage. Maybe I can double that tomorrow if it keeps raining. I took a couple hours off today to pick up all the grubs in our back yard I killed yesterday, and I swear there were over 500 of 'em! Pesticides are fun. I also seeded the back lawn and threw hay over it. Right now it's raining -- perfect timing. Such is the life of a freelance writer slash lawn boy. Oh, and I also finished reading the RatBastards' chapbook, which was a lot of fun, if a bit weird and indecipherable at times. But I really liked the final story, "Even a Worm Will Turn," by Kristin Livdahl. Makes me wanna do a chapbook or something... Hmm... Later.
