The first draft of my SF novel is done.

This project was started on June 12, 1996, and it was completed (at least the first DRAFT of it) on January 12, 2002. Amazing.

I feel really good about it. I know which areas I'll need to focus on in the revision process, but overall it's the strongest work I've done. And I love the ending!

Wow. Not much more to say.

I'm putting away everything related to The Wannoshay Cycle now for a month or so, and I'll start looking at it again seriously on March 1st. Whew.

Tomorrow I continue work on my 4th novel, Heart's Revenge, and look for places to send my other novels, The Prodigal Sons and The Last of the Hand. (The collaborative horror novel is going into the trunk, and I'm chalking that one up to experience -- I learned a lot writing that.) But I'm most excited about focusing on new projects and getting some READING done, for pleasure.

Whew. Have a good day!

Today's Quote:
It is all right to doubt faith, Father Joshua McDowell wrote as the reborn Wannoshay mother ship sped away from Earth, on its way back home. Just as long as you are able to find your way back to that faith, at the end of the day. For it will be there, waiting for you, as an integral part of your true history. All you have to do is look for it.
