The weekend was crazy-busy, and fun for the most part -- a get-together with the fam on Saturday at our new place and a get-together with the new neighbors last night were the highlights. Having to work most of yesterday afternoon testing software was a bit of a lowlight, as was getting little writing done. I'm getting caught up with my workshop reading, at least, but I'm running out of steam on the novel. Argh. Welcome to the rollercoaster ride we call life...

So, instead of griping overmuch, I'll share cute Drew photos! It's been way too long:


Here's the little guy sitting in his favorite new spot for reading (and snacking!). I'm going to hate putting up the baby gates on the stairs. Maybe I'll put the lower gate a couple steps higher... He likes to read out loud now, putting together some nice nonsense sentences.


Drew does his best on his first Easter egg hunt, while Mom observes (notice the black clouds approaching, which caused the hunt to take place indoors!). Or is the litte guy conjuring the storm? Hmmm...
