Good news and a question

The good news is, I finally found my old Moleskine, the one I used to write the middle section of the Sixteen Miles from Everywhere novel. I found the sucker in our "Harry Potter closet" underneath the steps leading upstairs. It got tucked away in a weird place -- I had given it up for lost.

At some point I excised those novel draft pages from the book, so I have a tidy little hardcover journal now, full of empty, lined pages.

I don't know about you, but all those blank pages makes me a little giddy. And also a little crazy. So many stories to tell. So many words and sentences and paragraphs and chapters to fill up those pages. How many pens will it take?

I can't think about it too much or my head will explode.

So, to change the subject, I have a question -- what were some of your weirdest, most unique jobs you've ever had? Temporary jobs, crap jobs, student jobs, desperation jobs. Throw them my way, if you would. I'm compiling a list for a story or maybe a novel. You'd be forever in my debt if you shared. Thanks!

And yes, I have a list started in my Moleskine already... Later!
