2005-07-12 9:13 AM Thoreau's birthday I guess it is transcendentalist week here with Emerson yesterday and Thoreau today (my grade school was named after the latter, but I don't recall us ever reading anything by him -- pity). Today is Thoreau's birthday, so here are a few quick quotes to celebrate:
