I can't believe this is the end of September. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous, and the roses are still blooming. The trees haven't yet turned, but they're trembling on the edge. The colors are just about ready to burst open, and because of all the rain we had earlier this spring, I'm sure it will be glorious.

I am really tired, but I don't see a day off in my near future. I have to make hay while the sun shines in preparation for those times when the work dries up. I've made some tentative goals for October, and have started casting my net for new clients since one of them has slowed a bit. Believe me, the application process for this takes a lot of time. *sigh* But, I shall persevere.

3Words starts tomorrow and I'm excited and nervous. Excited because I'll be writing fiction again after a long hiatus, and nervous because I'll be writing fiction again after a long hiatus. I have no ideas, just rumblings, so we'll see how that goes. I remember having so much fun the last time I did it, and 100 words a day is do-able for me. I also want to work on Chapter 23, and it's a constant thought in my mind. I doubt very highly I will merge the two, although I have thought of writing a side-story that might kick start the wayward chapter. Most of the time I have no idea what I'm going to write until I open a blank document -- I've always written that way so who knows what's going to pop out. My writer's basement is always chugging on something, even if I don't consciously think about it.
