back from vacation. had a wonderful time. new smyrna beach florida is beautiful, altho it's on the atlantic (i prefer the gulf) and i'd recommend it highly. we got to experience alberto, that tiny little tropical storm. glad there was no huge damage - it was kind of exciting!!!

i'm hoping for a fresh new place to vacation next year. don't i sound spoiled, but florida is starting to get old!!! i have tons of family on the gulf coast, so you get the picture. we've gone there on vacation my whole life. it's beautiful, but there's a whole world out there i haven't seen. yet...

now i have a filthy house to clean and things to get ready for the new job that starts wednesday. home study on weds and thurs. meeting with my new supervisor on friday. and training in hartford ct next week.

anybody here from hartford ct??? my all time fav actress, katharine hepburn, was born and is buried there, and i'm hoping i'll have time to go visit her gravesite.

no, i'm not that weird. i don't know of anything else to do in hartford ct if i get a minute. any suggestions???

glad everyone seems to be doing ok. however wonderful vacations are, it's always good to get home. i missed my computer more than i thought i would. i felt really out of touch. i'll be getting a laptop for the new job, eventually. cool.

ok, now a question: why does my dog eat carpet fuzz????? he just pukes it up an hour later. he's driving me crazy. i can't stand the sound of it, ya know??? it sounds like someone chewing with their mouth open. yuk.
