i've got a huge coffee buzz going.

i guess i'm gonna have to stick to the mild stuff.

yesterday daughter and i tried to get her bike tires inflated. we went to thornton's and made use of their $.75 air. (what's up with charging for air? isn't it like the only thing left that's still "free"?) anyway, either i'm a complete dumbass or her tubes are shot, so we couldn't get it pumped up.

we did, however, play tennis, throw frisbee, and run/jog around the mile track. we sat down and ate oreo's and talked by the tennis courts. came home, read, napped, drank margaritas (me, not her) and had an altogether lovely mother and daughter kind of day. they're few and far between these days, and i know they will be fewer and fewer as she gets older.

not much going on today either, and i prefer it that way. the house is clean, quiet, windows are open, and i'm reading and making beans for burritos and being domestic. i suspect daughter and i will end up at the park again after i pick her up at school.

temps are in the 60's today and 70's tomorrow. i have to work tomorrow, but that's ok. i've thoroughly enjoyed the last 2 days of good weather.

it feels really good to be in flip flops again.

is it the weather, or my sense of reliving my youth that does that to me???

outtamyhead sometimes it all comes outtamyhead, and sometimes i'm just outtamyhead. period. i guess i started this journal thingy out of boredom at a job i used to have. i stay here because i've come to know and love some of the people i've "met". you know who you are!!!
