The computer I use to print and to work on digital pictures (that has the pen tablet and Epson connected to it) wouldn't start properly this morning. In fact, it pretty much wouldn't start at all, and did nothing except light up its LEDs. It wasn't the monitor, and all sound was absent. There weren't any signs before this that the computer had any problems at all, either.

Called my cousin and he's going to come look at it tomorrow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the hard disk is undamaged and salvageable. My back-ups are patchy, and that computer had some huge image files on it that are works in progress or so recently finished that they aren't anywhere else! I'm trying not to think about how much I've possibly lost!
