...Even Money. got a boatload of stars carrying a half decent plot about gambling addiction, and damn near anything with forrest whitaker gotta be good. also kim basinger, ray liotta, kelsey grammer, danny devito, and a few others round out the cast. good stuff, this.

Dragon Fly, with kevin costner, aint a bad rent. I saw it when it came out but was well worth the rewatch. if ya dig afterlife stuff, youll dig this one.

Little House of Horrors [1960]. okay, so Ive put this one in twice so far and slept through the ending both times, but dammit, I will watch the whole thing. crazy jack nicholson has a tiny part as a sadomasochist dentist patient, and as if that aint enough, theres all sorts'a crazies in the house: a dude that buys flowers to eat, a hypochondriac woman that eats Epson Salts soup, and frankly, everybody in some way/shape/form is nuts. even being dated its a cool movie. I read it was filmed in two days, too...

tonight I got Headspace to watch. a few years ago I went into some business in Wheeling and the women were yakking about one of their nephews selling a story for filming. I think (Im 99% sure but Ill check later) if this is the one. I could dig a good flick written by someone not even ten miles from me.

Seraphim Falls is a fantastic flick til about mid-way. not that the movie sucked, the dvd wouldnt play...so I gotta reorder to watch the rest. Pierce Brosnan is really taking a beating so far; shot, beat-up, soaking wet and frozen, and still can throw a knife thirty feet and stick it right in the neck of a bad guy--ya gotta love that shit, right?

outta here, gotta do a porch roof.....
enjoy yer coffee :)
