I love suspense dramas, and I totally dig the hell out of tommy lee jones ['cept for a few of his lesser-known lame comedies], but The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada just didnt make the grade for me. there were entirely too many holes in the plot. too many unanswered questions in my mind as I scratched my head watching the credits roll. Jones directed this one, and I believe thats where the problem lies. he musta forgot to direct the plotline while yelling "AND ACTION!" at a mexican extra.
I dunno, this film is a four dead baby.

its someone special's birthday tomorrow [see the afterpost correction below, thanks]. maybe Ill send a card from hallmark if that damn site is at all navigational. last time I popped in, there was a login and a password and the slow loading all for a picture of a hummingbird and a 100 character limit. I may just draw a heart with a '<' and a '3' and write my own damn thoughts....
