kinda a cool flick...cars and planes changing into huge robots is always cool. some of the battle footage was shot like 'real time' [like the cameraman was there, getting knocked around by explosions and such and that made it extra cool. only problem: this is a 90 minute movie stretched into 2 1/2 hours. woulda been better (tighter) had it been shortened.

okay, dunno what today is yet. could go to the replace floor in laundryroom job, but could only do a few things. dunno if its worth the gas to go so prolly wait til monday.

gotta roof tomorrow and sunday so Ill at least have the house payment.

thinking of the last few winters and how broke I was. and man this summer sucked bad for work so Im pretty tight now, I can imagine what this winter season'll be like. so been thinking of getting a job with one of the larger contractors 'round here. Ill take a paycut but the work will be steady, and I can still work weekends or evenings (when I get in shape, that is...this belly I got (winter fat) is slowing me down--six or seven hours of work and Im really tired)

got Salem a new toy: a laser. man that simple cat kills herself chasing that little red dot. funny as hell, I tell ya.
she's such a beautiful cat, too. solid black and smart as hell. did I tell ya she fetches? this'll go on for as long as she's into it, usualy 10 or 15 minutes. Ill throw something [a toy animal--her fave is a tiny tore up bear--, crumpled cig pack, a piece of wire with black tape] and she'll chase it and return it. drops it near my hand and waits for me to throw again. I ainr never seen anything like that from a cat. aint been just once or twice either...damn near anytime I toss she's a'running & a'fetching. [btw, her fave color is white. I bought a 3-pack of toy mice and she always goes for the white one. even chose a piece of white wire over a tiger stripe stuffed toy]

the only thing she could do to be a cooler cat is be more affectionate. she aint a lapcat, thats for sure. she'll stay for a good scratch behind the ears or a nice relaxing body massage, but never does she sit and watch a flick with me. she curls up on the end of the couch and watches for anything moving. still, this could very well be my fave cat of all time cuz of the level of smarts.

other than that trivial info, nothing happening here in the wilds of ahia. wake-up, coffee & sudoku, work, come home and eat, sudoku, and coffee until movietime---shake well and repeat. maybe one day Ill have something important to say, eh?
