this place seems like a new, never-before-seen place to me--cuz I reckon I dont come here all that often. guess not too many other peeps do either.

go read Tana French's two books In the Woods and The Likeness. heres her site gotta tell ya theres some slow plotting, but its well worth it, imho. they're both murder mysteries--not whodunits, tho--and readable like crazy (likeness has a plot thing that was way hard for me to swallow, but aside from that...).

she did something Ive never seen before, too: the first book (in the woods) is first person from a dude named ryan; the likeness is first person from cassie--who was a major player in the first book...which I think is cool as hell.

just started Grisham's The Broker--which will catch me up on all his legal thrillers. plus, at the library today I scored mister murder by koontz and king's just past sunset, so Im set for good reading material for a few weeks.

writing? who, me? nothing to speak of lately. all caught up with chores today, tho, and just might maybe perhaps open a document and gander a dab at something or another.

did I mention Ill be in print in '09? Ill give ya more when I know more.

hope ya all had a great christmas holiday, and hope ya have a cool NYE...Ill be reading my book that night. I wouldnt step foot outta the safety of this house on nye...sheesh, theres too many nuts out there.
