2009-09-10 1:45 PM something that helped my Word issue Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: slowly materializing Read/Post Comments (0) for my Word [Word2007] default settings, I had font at 14 and the slider bar [lower right hand corner] at 110%.
so I got to thinking, maybe that percentage is like too high, being that size might be doing something crazy. I set the slider to 23% [cuz 22% is just a wee bit too small and 24% is just a wee bit too big--picky fucking bastard, me] and the font to 72, and so far--all the way through the 900+ words of yesterday's typing fun--the jumping screen problem didnt happen. the line currently being typed stays near the bottom of the screen instead of the top, but I can live with that, and really kinda got used to it quick. lazy me, I aint gotta look up so far from the keys to the monitor...I save two percent of a third of a half a nanosecond each time. the way I figger it, if I write a novel, I can save almost a whole minute overall. and just think, say I write sixty novels in my lifetime. thats a free hour, with it--again, over the course of my remaining life--I can surf for porn or eat popcorn or look forlorn or play a french horn or....well, you get the picture, right? I still want a new fucking computer, though. and I do hope theres a misplaced SK story in there somewhere... Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
