shutter island is a good read...great, actually. I got the movie sitting here unwatched--wanted to read the book first--and prolly one day this weekend Ill check it out.

ummm...patterson's swimsuit is next, right after david baldacci's the collectors. baldacci is the dude who wrote absolute power...a great movie with clint eastwood, so I imagine the book gotta be a killer. Ive read one of his stories so far and really liked it. theres three others in the kitchen waiting to be read.

got the dark tower gunslinger born. its a graphic novel (why not call a spade a spade and say comic book?) depicting the mid portion of DT 4 (5?) where roland meets--and loses--susan.

my only venture so far into graphic novels was koontz' frankenstien and I made it to maybe page five before returning iot to the library. but this book is so far okay. Ill let ya know if I make it to the end...
