damn raccoons. had one in the house. I borrowed a trap, caught the bugger, returned him to nature about ten miles away (very pissed, but alive), and while bragging on the phone about my superior animal control abilities, saw another one crawl up the side of the house and plop through a hole in the eaves. so Im almost done sealing up the hole, and I believe Ill have to trap this second coon if he hasnt slipped out. but hey, Im an old hand at capturing critters...

took a crash course in coon last few days. wikipedia/national geographic, and other sites say they sometimes live in small groups, usually 4 max, so as to fend off males (males kill the pups)...I might have more than just that one living upstairs. and what if one of 'em had babies?

gonna fix a hole, read a book, possibly watch a movie, and enjoy this day off...thats all I really know right now.
