Mood:
...ah...

So - just as our friends are taking a few days hiatas off to philly, my landlord begins scraping and repainting the smoking porch. Fortunatis, yes? Of course, I now have the *scrape* *scrape* *scrape* background noise going on to my afternoon activites - but honestly - I'm impressed with ANY landlord that does something to improve a place after it has been rented. So - just keep that continual sound in the background as you read this.

It's true - the yaga and the mizu are on their way to philly for a mid week weekend. We still have charge of the animals (I'm falling in love with elliot) but basically we are on our own until saturday. Thankfully, luce does *not* need to be fed while they are away.

I'm still on hold til the beginning of July for VWA, I go for my extremely disconcerting physical exam for USS thursday, and I have to turn in a logo and a more finalized graphic presentation for the DASI project by friday.

The Medical Inventory had 981 questions on it including these highlights:

214. Have you taken a short vacation in the past year?
215. Have you taken a long vacation in the past year (five days or more)?
335. Any noisy hobbies?
411. [Do you now have or have you ever had] to use more than one pillow for sleeping?
501. [Do you now have or have you ever had] headaches?

And the top stupid question:
940. [Do you] drink water (8.oz glasses) How many a day? For how many years? (the same question was asked about milk, coffee, and tea)

This lovely little exam came with a letter stating that they will be doing drug testing as well. This seems like a lot of work for a part time temporary job. If I didn't need the money, I probably would bail.

After being chewed out for being a half hour late for a meeting with my lovely ID prof we got down to some vector estimations for the dasi project. How long it will take, what has to be done. Bill has really been very cool, not only by kicking a great logo opportunity my way, but also he is using my skills but not expecting me to know everything. Flash has been the main issue. Since I know something about it, but not tons, he is probably going to have someone else animate my stuff once he's signed off on the last bit. So - its buzzing along. Hope to have the next step completed by friday. Though he is gruff - I at least know where he is at all times. I don't feel he will pull anything.
