Project: Diploma of Anglican Studies
Patron: TEEM
Medium: QuarkXPress 5.0 + Photoshop
Status: Draft 1.0
Deadline: July 1st

Gah. Yeah, the deadline is a little close for a first draft, but it wasn't a last minute thing, so I have only myself to blame.

On the up side:
a) it's a project (yay!) It's been a dull month
b) I get to try my hand at some illustration.

Nothing to crazy, understand, but I've got an Idea(tm) to work through a few minor themes with one solid graphic. The drawback is I will need to do it at home since tesm doesn't have a copy of illustrator floating around. (or anything comparable) I will show it to you when I have something completed. The theme is actually about discipling and continual ed for clergy.

The flat size of the table brochure will be 7 x 10" and will be a trifold, though KF initially was against having a pamplet type fold. With the increased size though, it doesn't feel like a pamplhet or a hand out, though I'm worried its a bit bulky. It has a split cover for the front, with the graphic located on both flaps. Not too much verbage on the outside cover, just lots of large areas of color.

The color is really really plum, only because I'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to using their yellow. I want a yellow that is more "burnished gold"; less "pediestrian's crossing" in tone. But what graphic standards tesm has, I feel I should try and stick with, if only to try and help them brand as much as possible.

The other good news is I can come back and clean it up tomorrow.

brb.
