C has been learning how to eat with utensils. She can't quite scoop the food into the spoon, but if we put the food on the spoon and set it on her tray, she will maneuver it to her mouth with about 65% of the food still on the spoon.

She also enjoys pulling serving spoons out of the drawer and playing with them. This morning she was playing with a HUGE slotted spoon on her tray. She put a piece of pancake into the spoon and picked it up to try to eat with it! Talk about the Wide-Mouthed Frog! Then when she heard R and me laughing she realized she had made a funny. What a look of accomplishment.

I guess this goes in the "worth a thousand words" category--I wish we'd had the camera handy.
