PBPMS: A Recipe This is a family tradition that has been grossing out friends and loved ones for years. However, those brave enough to try it are often surprised to find out just how tasty it is. When the basic PBPMS has a timeless appeal that will bring you back for more, it can also serve as the building block for a sandwich of Dagwoodian proportions. Serves 1, although sometimes you may have to share a bite with the curious Basic Peanut Butter, Pickle and Mayonnaise Sandwich: 2 slices bread peanut butter pickles mayonnaise Optional Ingredients: cheese tomato lettuce fruit marshmallow creme jelly cold cuts honey pretzels/potato chips/tortilla chips etc. Everyone knows how to make a sandwich. However, careful assembly is required to make this one work (especially with extra ingredients). Follow these two rules: 1. Don't put two ingredients next to each other that wouldn't go well together in a "normal" sandwich. For example, honey should never touch meat or pickles. Sandwiches with a large number of ingredients may rquire extra slices of bread to avoid breaking this rule. 2. Ignore rule #1 when it comes to peanut butter. Peanut butter goes with everything.
