friday fiveZzzzz...

I wrote this one... about sleep!

1. In what kind of environment do you sleep best? Cool room with a fluffy down comforter, dark, no white noise needed. Ideally I like a heavier blanket on top of my lower legs/feet. No extra pillows required unless I'm great with child.

2. How much sleep do you need to feel consistently well-rested? 7 hours
How much can you get by on? I can get by on 5-6
What are the consequences when you don't get enough? My eyes get dry and heavy, my temper gets short, and I get paranoid and lose all sense of perspective, tending to catastrophize everything.

3. Night owl or morning person? Night owl all the way. I wish I were a morning person but I just ain't.

4. Favorite cure for insomnia. I kid you not--I will play the movie When Harry Met Sally in my head. I'm usually out before they even get to New York.

5. To snooze or not to snooze? Why or why not? I absolutely love a good snooze. I've been known to snooze for an hour or more. There's nothing better than waking up before you have to get up and being able to go back to sleep. I live with a non-snoozer though, so I try to moderate and keep the volume low.
