Nevertheless, here is my list of stuff I couldn't care less about at the moment.

• making the bed... aside from hastily pulling up the covers so that kitty paws sandy with cat litter won't mess it up
  
  
• weeding the front yard, or really, any yardwork beyond R's minimal mowing and watering our Little Shop of Horrors basil out back
  
  
• balancing the checkbook. We have online banking. We know how much money we have. That's gonna have to cut it until the girls graduate from high school
  
  
• jewelry: I've been wearing the same silver hoop earrings for several weeks. They go with everything, right? Right?
  
  
• the huge pile of mismatched shoes on the floor of my closet that make it difficult to enter
  
  
• ironing: I gave that up years ago. A wet washcloth thrown in the dryer with the wrinkled item will do. My litmus test: is it feasible that someone could look at me and assume I got this wrinkled on the way to work? If yes, it's good to go.
  
  
• television: except the Daily Show, the Reporrrr, and this show.
