Zero Population Growth--I remember hearing a speaker on the topic when I was in my mid teens. I understood his argument--that the population of the planet is exceeding the ability of the natural resources to support it and that we are crowding out (to extinction) other species; therefore we should voluntarily restrict our rate of reproduction and support the environment--and I supported it. And I still do.

I had 23 cousins. Christy Brown had 22 siblings. I was shocked and horrified. Still am. We humans must voluntrily restrict our rate of reproduction or face the eventual destruction of our planet.
