He has an American-born wife and all his children are citizens as well; he himself is a naturalized citizen.
I was astonished to realize he was rhapsodizing about the country of his birth. Particularly when he emphasized that upon his retirement at age 50 he was going to take his pension and return to the land that holds his heart. His sojourn in America was only long enough to get citizenship, retirement and benefits. He made it clear that the day he retires, he will shake the dust of this place from his feet and never return. His contempt for this country was on his face and in his voice and manifest in his body language. I guess his loyalties aren't divided after all.
