Never let it be said that Bush and Co are stingy about spreading the largesse to fervent loyal supporters.
This nomination is in the mold of the Clarence Thomas nomination--a smart move. They have selected a nominee that Democrats won't be able to criticize severely because the nominee is a woman or non-white ethnicity. A classic conservative tactic, using liberal arguments to undercut liberal opposition (guilt). Judicial experience? She don't need no frickin' judicial experience.
