Yesterday was Big Sunday here in Los Angeles. At hundreds (literally) of places, people turned out in substantial numbers to do things to help the environment, comfort shut-ins and protect the prematurely newborn. Among many, many other projects.

It was a time to say that we are all one people and that we give to each other when we can and we receive from each other when in need. It goes around and around.

There were projects for children, and for adults as well. Lesson learned: The funny thing is that doing something for someone else is healing to yourself as well.
