Two of my employees speak Ilocano. I do not. The three of us were in the lab, trying to determine which course of action to follow given a set of unexpected circumstances.

The two of them, one on each side of me, started speaking to each other in a language I didn't understand, I think about something personal (since they were laughing and body language indicated humor). I was grumpy, trying to get the business at hand settled so that I could get back to the report I was working on when I was so rudely interrupted.

I know, I'm an insensitive boss, disrespectful toward others' cultural differences. Bite me.
