I read it when it first came out and just re-read it this week, during my off-work days. It's a good novel of science fiction mystery--murder mystery of a sort--and in addition rather a coming-of-age novel as well. Coming into one's psychological and social and personal maturation, perhaps, for the main character as well as for his foster brother.
Since I already knew the plot, I read it more slowly than I usually do, when I gobble up the pages to reach the denouement, and absorbed more of the protagonist's internal journey this time. It was well worth re-reading. What a shame I have to go back to work tomorrow! So many books, so little time. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
