Every year we do this, so it should come as no surprise. Yet every year I get frantic phone calls asking, "What do I use for a class code? What is the receiver order number? What is my basic assignment?" All spelled out in the memo, thank you. I get annoyed, to say the least, particularly when the person calling says they threw it out or didn't get one. Oh, please. The workplace is practically wallpapered with this particular notice. This year I'm trying a new tactic. I've printed the information page on bright coral pink paper and I'm folding each one into an origami before putting it into the mailbox of each supervisor (stupevisor?). My intention is that their curiosity will make them unfold it (if they can figure out how) and thereby note its contents. Or at least it will register that this is an important piece of paper. I'm an optimist. Read/Post Comments (5) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
