Artemis (Misty for short) is grey, with tufts on her ears, long hair, and a bushy tail. She looks a lot like a squirrel herself.

So when she came blasting through the cat door in the wee hours of the morning, I thought for a moment her doppelganger was with her...no, it was a squirrel, almost the same size as she, neck clamped in her jaws.

The squirrel escaped with only single puncture mark in its throat. I caught it and tossed it outside in the trees, where it scampered up the nearby mulberry tree.

All hail the mighty huntress!
