Saturday was extra-busy this week: grocery shopping, vacuum the carpet, pick up SO at hardware store (he still insists he can repair things), laundry (wash, dry, fold, put away), water plants inside and out, mop kitchen floor. I'm really tired.

And worrying about Thursday.

Tomorrow is the "Visioning" event at our church, held once every five years or so, starting with the service, break for lunch, then small round table discussions, and wrapup. I'll be there most of the day.

As a Board member, I'm supposed to host / moderate one of the sessions. Typical of us UUs, no one has said anything more of Board members' roles than that one brief statement. Not what issues will be discussed, not what materials to bring--nothing. We're good at the seat-of-the-pants thing.

If we were actually organized and planned ahead, we'd probably set the world on its ear. As it is, we're just interesting, tucked away in our little niche.
