2009-11-14 7:00 AM Recovering Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (4) I'm still emotionally and physically shell-shocked, but recovering. Husband is back to pre-crisis normal, maybe even better than before.
The cats are still distressed, meowing and following me everywhere I go, because I'm still moving about the house, cleaning up, putting away, folding laundry, taking vitals, getting meds and so forth. According to them, I'm supposed to be sitting in my reading chair, providing a lap and why am I not doing that.... Off in half an hour to Trader Joe's for weekly shopping, then back to take laundry out of washer and put in dryer, put away groceries, make up his weekly meds, and then...then...ah, then...a bit of a break. Lap-shaped break or horizontal break, whichever calls more loudly. Wait. I forgot. I have to mail Batty's present somewhere in that list. And make up my take-to-work meals too. I can postpone the latter until tomorrow. And all the bills are paid through the 20th of the month, so that's one more thing off my to-do list. Next week I have to get car serviced and right turn signal fixed (if it had been the left turn signal, I would have had to do it right away, but I figured I could safely postpone right signal. Batty might disagree.) Mustn't forget cat treats...going downstairs right now and put them on the list. Bye! Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
