Today I decided to clean out a closet with the intent of giving away things I haven't used in a couple of years and bringing some order out of chaos.

What I didn't notice was that a cat had made herself a nest in the basket underneath the hanging clothes and was quite comfortably snoozing.

She took exception to the handful of clothing dumped unceremoniously on her head, requiring her to extricate herself from a disarranged nest. She was quite vocal about it, and with a flick of the tail headed for quieter parts.

I now have a nice pile of clothing for the Salvation Army. Here kitty, kitty. I'm all done with this closet. You can have your napping spot back.
