2010-09-10 8:36 AM Organizationally Challenged Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (2) I use this expression, "I'm organizationally challenged", in a humorous way, to mean that things are at sixes and sevens, scattered all over, I'm running late, and I can't find my cell phone. You get the picture.
But it's also an expression for another meaning--I'm challenged by the inertia of the organization, by its managers' preferences for doing nothing and playing it safe, by its lack of compassion and concern for its employees. And organizationally challenged in a larger world, where we build half billion $ schools in a school district strapped for cash, laying off employees and giving the rest of the employees reduced work schedules and furlough days.
