Our office manager has gone bonkers. Stark, raving mad. She's wearing a red and black outfit, complete with long elbow length gloves and hat (with veil), floor length skirt and matching schoes.

She's insisting that we all wear hats, too. I went down to the car and found my baseball cap which I wear pulled down low over my eyes for the morning and evening commute (especially in the morning these days when the time of sunrise means the sun is on the horizon, directly into my eyes.)

One other person found her witch's hat from Halloween last year and another person pinned a series of flowers along her headband.

Silliness not required of men.

Now she's making tea and crumpets for mid morning break (heaven only knows what's on for High Tea).

I told her that my ancestors fought the British in the Revolutionary War, but no matter. Today we celebrate a historic royal wedding.
