2011-12-16 7:30 AM Dissed? Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (8) When I got to work this morning, an unknown someone was parked in my reserved spot, and someone else had taken my company vehicle to go to an assignment (there are other pool cars available).
I parked my personal car athwart theirs so they wouldn't be able to leave without asking me to unblock their car. Do I know how to be snarky or what? A bit later a couple of people wandered into my office as I sat here at my desk working on a project, and started claiming various items for their own use. I invited them to leave. Now. The message is "Here's your hat; what's your hurry?" as my mother used to say. Or, maybe, "Don't let the door hit you on the way out." Reminds me of people who would rob the dying before they were deceased but who could no longer protect their possessions. Hey, guys, I'm not retired yet. Your behavior is disrespectful.
