Hi. My name is Rhubarb, and I'm an alco... a music snob. (LOL--I hit the wrong key and typed "t" instead of "b").

You know the trio: Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms. With a side dish of Mozart, Grieg, and Handel. Maybe a little Gregorian chant for dessert.

So it is with a bit of embarrassment that I confess that I thoroughly enjoyed last night's band concert titled "British Invasion". I didn't get a program, so I can't list the composers (though Edward Elgar, Elton John and the Beatles are easy to remember). In any event, it was a delightful evening.

Nice little theater in the back of beyond, near where Batty used to live. I suppose I could complain about the 60 mile round trip driving--except that I love to drive and haven't been out on the open road, pushing the speed limit, for months. Note: sitting around or going only short trips not good for car--or driver. Glad to get out and get the car some exercise.

Looking forward to the next concert, though I will be sad that one of the band members won't be present. She's moving north, way north.
