My dentist is the best, and I would recommend her and her team for both regular dental care and for emergencies. During the whole deal with the crown, they must have asked me a dozen times was I all right, was I in pain (I wasn't but my nose itched). They are both skillful and caring.

P.S. It was a breeze. Nary a twinge, except for one poke into a sensitive spot. A little achy now, but it will be gone by morning. I think half the pain is caused by anticipation and anxiety. When you know your dentist isn't going to hurt you, you relax and your body doesn't go looking for trouble.

We spent most of the time talking about our dogs. My dentist is involved in dog rescue and she is looking out for a medium sized short haired female for me, with a nice easy temperament. Her dog just died, so she is looking for the same for herself. Wouldn't it be fun for us to get siblings? Then we could swap dog stories as well as tales about the tooth fairy.

Time to get ready for bed. 6 a.m. comes awfully early in winter.
