My youngest brother is going to be a father. That will be my second niece or nephew but I believe it will be a girl. I don't think he has the chromosones to produce a boy. heh Well that's what I tell him anyway. He was funny. Stunned or in shock might be a better word. In truth I think the fear of having a child is hitting him. He did just lose his job and he hasn't found a new one yet. His wife has excellent insurance so that isn't a problem just that Chris felt like a deadbeat before and now he has a little one on the way. Puts things in perspective.

I'm the oldest and my chances for producing an offspring are slim to none. And I don't even know if I want to have a kid. It's romantic but my fear of bringing a child into my life obliterates any plans of that. Also the fact that you need a partner in the process. And so...

Having a writers workshop today with my group. Bringing in author Bob Sloan to do a little crit and advice session. Should be a blast. I'm also looking hard at buying some sreenwriting software.
